The Journey

Our story didn’t start where you might think. It began with creativity, persistence, and a little mascot named Raja. Years ago, when Suhaag Garden—our 17-year-old event design and production company—was at its peak, Raja was created as part of a vision. But visions evolve, and Raja didn’t quite fit. Still, we held onto him.

Then came the COVID era. Life slowed down, routines shifted, and we were all looking for ways to stay connected. It was during that time(with extra moments and a lot of heart) that Masala-Mandala was born. Cooking for our community became mo Masala-Mandala was born. Cooking for our community became more than just providing meals—it became an act of love and a bridge for connection.

As we shaped our brand, we knew we wanted something vibrant, fun, and full of life. That’s when Raja made his return. It felt right—like he had finally found his home.

Sometimes the things we pour our energy into come full circle, growing into something beautiful and unexpected.

The Heart of It All

For Jilna, Masala-Mandala is more than just food—it’s a calling. As a natural leader, she’s always felt a pull to serve her community using her gifts. Helping people build meaningful relationships brings her joy, and cooking allows her to express her creativity. Blending ingredients, experimenting with cuisines and cultures, and presenting food that looks as beautiful as it tastes—it’s her art.

But what truly fulfills Jilna is when these two passions—building relationships and creating beautiful food—come beautiful food—come together. That’s the heart of Masala-Mandala. The truth is, when life brings difficult change, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. But somewhere beneath that weight lies courage—the courage to believe you can overcome, adapt, and grow. That’s what we’ve done, and it’s what we hope to share with you through our food.

So, from our kitchen to your table, we invite you to experience the warmth, the care, and the flavor of Masala-Mandala. Because here, food is more than a meal—it’s a connection
