Jilna, though of East Indian heritage, was born and raised in Kenya, a background that brings a distinctive fusion to our flavors. While our foundation is rooted in traditional Indian cuisine, many of our recipes carry delightful Kenyan influences. A perfect example is our signature samosas. Unlike the familiar Punjabi versions filled with vegetarian potato and peas wrapped in a thicker, doughier pastry, our samosas are crispy and filled with seasoned chic chicken or lamb. Flavored with fresh herbs like spring onions and cilantro, they offer a bold, vibrant twist with delicate hints of garam masala.
